Pack 01 · in production

1960s Office

Mid-century modern furniture and desk props for a period office set — walnut, brass, sage and bone. 110 props and a 30-module architecture kit to build the room around them — 449 prefabs once every colourway is counted — built to drop into a level and be walked past at arm's length.

Not released yet

136 of 140 pieces clear the five-angle audit as of 2026-08-16 — 107/110 props and 29/30 architecture modules. 4 have a located defect in repair. The pack goes on sale when all 140 pass — not before.

Requires Unity 6000.x with URP. Built and tested on Unity 6000.5.3f1 with URP 17.5.0. Drop the folder in — the pack ships its own importer, which turns the UCX_ hulls into convex mesh colliders and builds a prefab per asset. The pack is FBX with the standard UCX_ collision prefix and _LOD suffixes, which is what Unreal reads on import, so it imports. We have not run this pack in Unreal and make no claim about its automatic LOD or collision behaviour.

The set, assembled

What it looks like
in a room.

Three views of the same pack. The pack ships a 30-module architecture kit for walls, floors, ceiling and trim; the shell in these particular renders is blockout geometry, not those modules.

Isometric cutaway of the full office: desk and desk chair by the window, bookcase and filing cabinet against the back wall, credenza, armchair, bench sofa, side table, coat stand, plant and waste bin.
A wider angle on the same office set, showing the desk arrangement and the seating group together.
A corner view emphasising the bookcase, corner shelf and wall art.
Ten furniture layouts of the same room, arranged by the studio's constraint solver from the same asset set.
Ten layouts of the same room, arranged by the studio's constraint solver — walkway clearance, chair gap behind the desk, rug under the seating group, art at sightline height. The solver is a production tool, not a pack feature; it is here because it is how the promo renders get arranged without a human moving furniture by hand.

8 rooms

Not one office.
A whole floor of them.

The set is built zone by zone, and each zone is furnished and lit as a room before any of it is called finished. 5 of the 8 are exported whole — walls, lights, furniture, one mesh — and you can turn them below.

29 of the 110 props, in the browser

Every piece, with its verdict.

Including the ones that have not passed. A pack page that only shows its winners tells you nothing about the ones you will actually be looking at in the corner of the level.

These are the pieces with a browser mesh and an English five-view strip. The web export runs a batch behind production, so the other 81 props and all 30 architecture modules are audited and in the download but are not yet turntables on this page. Their verdicts are in the count above; the meshes follow.

The audit, per asset

Every asset,
from all five angles.

Front, back, left, right, top — lit identically, because the object rotates and the lights do not. Pick a piece; this is exactly what the gate looked at.

Why the set holds together

One reference,
110 pieces.

The hard part of a themed pack is not one good prop. It is a hundred and ten that look like they came out of the same catalogue.

So the room came first. One reference interior fixes the vocabulary — one walnut value, one sage, one brass, one bone, one leg taper, one edge radius — and every prop is designed against that reference rather than against somebody’s memory of it. A hundred pieces each individually “about right” still read as a jumble; a hundred sharing four exact values read as a family.

The same discipline decides what is not in the pack. Props whose quality depends on specific representational content — maps, paintings with real subjects, signage, readable lettering — are left out on purpose, because a viewer arrives with an exact mental model of what those should look like and can see precisely how far off yours is. That rule cost us a globe and bought us a pair of book ends.

The globe, and the rule that replaced it.

4

Exact values

One walnut, one sage, one brass, one bone. Applied as numbers, not by eye, across every asset in the set.

1

Edge radius

Held everywhere. Half a set with crisp edges and half with soft ones stops looking like a set at all.

0

Readable characters

Book spines are colour bands, dials are dots, keycaps are blank. No localisation work and no trademark question.

110

Props, four layers

Anchors, seating and surfaces, clutter, and the wall-mounted layer. A room with a bare wall reads as unfinished.

Technical

Specification.

Real-world scale
A 1.55 m desk is 1.55 m in the engine. Pivot at the bottom centre, transforms applied — drop it on the floor and it sits on the floor.
One material per asset
One texture, one material, one draw call. They batch.
Convex collision
A convex hull on every piece, named the standard UCX_ way. Unreal reads it on import; the pack ships a Unity importer that turns it into a mesh collider.
LOD chain
LOD1 and LOD2 on the pieces heavy enough to be worth it, on the standard _LOD suffix.
No readable text
Book spines are colour bands, dial faces are dots, keycaps are blank. Deliberate: lettering would tie the set to one language and drag a trademark question into a prop you wanted to reuse everywhere.
FBX with embedded textures
FBX with the textures inside it — the format both engines already read. Textures are uncompressed PNG, which is what keeps the palette clean up close.
Known limits
Each asset carries its own texture; they are not packed into one shared atlas, so the set is one draw call per asset, not one for the whole pack. The shell in the promo renders is blockout geometry rather than the pack's own architecture modules, so those renders are not a picture of what the kit builds.
