Licence

What you can do
with the assets.

The short version: build whatever you like with them, on as many titles as you like. Do not sell them on as assets.

You may

  • Use the assets in personal and commercial projects — games, films, visualisations and prototypes — on an unlimited number of titles.
  • Modify, remesh, retexture and combine the assets with other work.
  • Use them in a project made for a client, as part of that project.

You may not

  • Resell, redistribute or sublicense the assets on their own, or as part of an asset pack, template or library whose main value is the assets themselves.

The line is what the buyer of your thing is paying for. If they are paying for your game, your film or your product, the assets can be in it. If they are paying for the assets, they should be buying them from us.

Warranty

The assets are provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

Provenance

We hold full commercial rights to everything in the packs. No third-party assets, scans or store images were used as inputs at any stage, and nothing in a pack is a re-upload of somebody else's work. Each pack also ships a short provenance note in the download, and the storefront listing carries whatever declarations that store requires.

Attribution

Not required. If you want to credit the studio anyway, LeftPunch Studio is the name and we would be glad to see it.

Questions

If your situation is not covered here — an unusual distribution model, a platform with its own asset terms, a client who needs something in writing — email hello@leftpunchstudio.com and ask. A short answer from a person beats guessing at a clause.

This page is the plain-language version of the LICENSE.txt file shipped inside every pack. If the two ever disagree, the file inside the pack you bought is the one that governs.
